Recent rumors suggest Samsung's Exynos 2700 has posted positive scores that outperform Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chips in "early benchmarks." These reports state the Exynos 2700 has beaten Qualcomm in the graphics department (GPU), as well as its CPU performance and AI capabilities.

The publication cites "industry sources" saying the Exynos 2700 surpassed Qualcomm by 5% in peak GPU performance. It recorded "24% higher performance" over the standard chip and "22% higher" than the rumored Pro version. In multi-core CPU tests, it was roughly 9% better than the Gen 6 Pro. Additionally, the chip generated responses faster than Qualcomm's offerings in AI tests.

Samsung created a "task force" to spearhead its Exynos chip creation, getting serious about the brand in 2025. The previous Exynos 2600 was a major step forward. To address overheating issues, the Exynos 2700 reportedly utilizes upgraded HPB (Heat Path Block) tech for better heat dispersion.

Speculation also suggests a ~10-core structure with cores clocking at ~2.88GHz. This could yield a ~12% performance boost over the 2600. While these claims are intriguing, skepticism remains until official announcements confirm the data.
