WeChat has introduced a new payment app called Ten Pay Go specifically designed for tourists visiting China. The app allows users to make payments wherever WeChat Pay is accepted, using options like Apple Pay, international cards, or nearly 60 supported e-wallets. Users can sign up with their email address and link their preferred payment method for seamless transactions.

Beyond payments, Ten Pay Go includes features such as identifying landmarks or objects by taking photos and translating menus. It will soon support public transport tickets and tax refunds, initially in Shenzhen. This initiative aims to simplify the travel experience for overseas visitors by integrating essential services into a single platform.

The launch marks a significant step in making China more accessible to international travelers, leveraging the widespread adoption of app-based payments in the country.
