Google has rebranded its research tool NotebookLM to "Gemini Notebook," aligning it more closely with the main Gemini brand. The current logo will be updated with the Gemini gradient. Gemini Notebook will remain a dedicated research tool but will expand its integration across the Google ecosystem.

Notebooks, currently used for chat organization within the Gemini app, will soon be integrated into Google Search's AI Mode. A significant upgrade, the Gemini 3.5 and Antigravity upgrade, which began rolling out to AI Ultra users, is now coming to AI Pro subscribers. This enhancement provides notebooks with a secure cloud computer for native code execution, enabling complex data analysis directly from user sources and offering new output formats and deeper analysis.

The upgrade will be available to all Google AI Pro users on the web within the coming weeks. Google also announced that Gemini Notebook has surpassed 30 million users and 600,000 organizations, highlighting its growing adoption.
