iOS 27, launching this fall, introduces several enhancements to the Apple Wallet app.

A new 'Create a Pass' feature allows users to import physical passes by scanning them with their iPhone's camera, utilizing Apple Intelligence, or create new passes manually for standard, membership, or event types. The goal is to consolidate all types of passes within the Wallet app.

Split Bill with Apple Cash is another addition. When scanning a receipt with Siri in the Camera app, users can opt to split the bill, directly opening Wallet to request payments or pay their share. For Apple Card users, a new 'Recurring' option under the three-dot icon displays upcoming recurring transactions and subscriptions in a calendar or list view, helping users anticipate charges.

Hotel keys in Apple Wallet are also upgraded, offering more trip details, updates on booked activities, and access to services during a stay, all within the Wallet app. An earlier 'Insights' feature for spending tracking was present in a beta but has since been removed.
