Apple released iOS 27.3 beta 1, introducing a host of new features and system-wide improvements. A key highlight is the expansion of the iPhone Duo's redesigned StandBy experience to other iPhone models. Previously exclusive to the iPhone Duo, the updated StandBy now brings new Analog and Digital Clock faces, expanded color and complication customization, and new Calendar and Weather faces to iPhone 11 and later.
A notable addition allows users to create multiple versions of the same StandBy face with distinct customization options and swipe between them. The update also adds Shared Albums support to the Photos face. iOS 27.3 is expected to launch in December, offering a significant upgrade to the default charging mode experience across the iPhone lineup.
