Adobe has made its Turntable feature generally available in Illustrator, letting creators rotate 2D vector illustrations in 3D space while maintaining their original art style. The tool, which debuted as Project Turntable at Adobe MAX 2024, generates up to 74 editable views from a single design.

During beta testing, animators used Turntable to accelerate character turnarounds for pitch decks, while game designers leveraged it for concept art generation. Adobe says what once took hours now happens in seconds, with each angle remaining a fully editable vector that preserves original details.

The feature enables designers to quickly create turnarounds, animations, and production-ready assets. By automatically generating multi-angle views, Turntable streamlines workflows that previously required manual redrawing or complex 3D modeling.
