The new tool allows users to control their AI systems from anywhere using iPhone or iPad, eliminating the need to be tethered to a desk for monitoring AI agents running on Mac minis or other Mac setups.

Workbench offers high-fidelity streaming with low latency, speech-to-text input, and multiple control options including gestures, keyboard, mouse, and Apple Pencil. The app enables users to check logs, verify agent work, restart failed tasks, and reconnect to long-running jobs, with tools available for switching between multiple Macs connected to a single Workbench account.

The remote desktop solution provides secure AES-256 encryption without capturing or saving display recordings. New users can connect for free with 20 minutes of daily access, while unlimited access costs $10 per month or $50 annually. This addresses the growing need for flexible AI management as more users set up personal servers for AI agent development.
