Adobe Acrobat AI Adds Podcast Generation from PDFs

Adobe is rolling out new AI features for Acrobat and Express, letting users generate podcasts directly from PDF documents. The update also includes prompt-based PDF editing and a Generate presentation tool that builds pitch decks from multiple files. These features aim to streamline content creation and consumption.

The move builds on Adobe's recent AI integrations, including ChatGPT in Photoshop and Firefly's GPT-Image 1.5 support. For consumers, this means turning dense reports or educational guides into audio summaries for on-the-go listening. The tools also add collaborative PDF Spaces where teams can work on shared documents.

Adobe's AI Assistant first creates an outline before generating the full presentation or podcast, with user-defined tone and length. Users can further edit slides or tweak content. This reflects the broader industry push to embed generative AI directly into creative workflows, reducing friction for non-experts.
