Adobe is expanding its Acrobat AI tools with four new features across Acrobat, Acrobat Studio, and Adobe Express. Users can now generate full presentations from documents in a PDF Space, starting with an outline and professional designs. The update also allows natural-language editing and easier collaboration by inviting others to add files and notes.

The move directly challenges Google's NotebookLM, adding a podcast generation feature that creates two-host conversations summarizing your material. This builds on Acrobat Studio, which debuted in August to modernize PDFs with genAI features like PDF Spaces for uploading and summarizing up to 100 documents.

Adobe reports strong user adoption, especially among students who use the AI for summarizing course materials with citations. The company says these tools save significant time. The broader trend sees software suites integrating generative AI to automate content creation and editing, reshaping productivity workflows for professionals and students alike.
