Adobe Firefly Custom Models Train AI on Your Art Style

Adobe is rolling out Firefly custom models in public beta, letting creators train the AI to generate images in their unique visual style. The feature allows artists to upload 10-30 high-resolution images and teach Firefly to replicate their aesthetic, including color palettes, lighting, and character features across generations.

Available to premium subscribers, each training session costs 500 credits from the user's monthly generative balance. Users can choose from three training methods: photography style for consistent lighting and mood, illustration style for signature looks, or character training for consistent personas across scenes. Adobe recommends uploading images with consistent styles and avoiding blurry or low-resolution content.

The move comes as Adobe expands its AI ecosystem with Project Moonlight, a private beta feature offering conversational AI assistants across Photoshop, Express, and Acrobat. These agentic AI tools let users describe goals in natural language and execute them autonomously using Adobe's tools.
