Adobe has integrated OpenAI’s GPT-Image 1.5 model into Firefly, its AI-powered creative suite. The move marks Adobe’s latest expansion of AI capabilities across its Creative Cloud ecosystem. To promote the integration, Firefly Pro and Premium subscribers can generate unlimited images using the new model through January 15.

Normally, users are limited by monthly generative credits, which vary by subscription tier — from 2,000 on the Standard plan to 50,000 on the Premium tier. GPT-Image 1.5 follows the model's initial release in late 2025. Adobe has rapidly added AI tools across its apps, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Express.

Firefly already integrates models from partners like Runway, Black Forest Labs, and Google. Generative credits function as tokens for producing AI-driven content — images, audio, video, or vectors — within Adobe's creative tools. The temporary offer gives paying users a chance to experiment with one of the most advanced image models available without credit restrictions.
