England's women's cricket team has relocated their training camp from the UAE to Pretoria, South Africa, due to escalating tensions in the Middle East following US-Israeli strikes on Iran. The original trip scheduled for Wednesday was cancelled as retaliatory strikes spread across the region. This training tour serves as crucial preparation for the upcoming T20 World Cup this summer.

With no competitive fixtures this winter and their last match played in October, England has organized an intensive training program. Two full squads will participate in a five-match T20 series, split between Team Heyhoe Flint captained by vice-captain Charlie Dean and Team Brittin led by captain Nat Sciver-Brunt. The squads include eight uncapped players and feature stars like Heather Knight and Sophie Ecclestone.

The tour, running from March 10 to 27, follows earlier trips to Oman and South Africa this year. Head coach Charlotte Edwards will oversee both squads, while assistant Luke Williams and former Durham batter Jon Lewis serve as coaches for the respective teams. Leg-spinner Sarah Glenn will miss the camp due to a broken finger.
