Dean Harrison sprinted to the top of the Superbike qualifying leaderboard on Tuesday, clocking 133.925 mph in a 16‑minute 54.206‑second lap on his Honda Racing machine. The Yorkshireman, now based on the Isle of Man, had earlier posted 133.222 mph from a standing start before shaving over five seconds off on his second circuit.

Harrison’s performance snaps a four‑year winless stretch for the Superbike rider, who last topped the TT podium in 2019. Michael Dunlop followed at 130.341 mph, almost 28 seconds behind. The top six also featured Manxman Nathan Harrison, Ian Hutchinson, David Johnson and John McGuinness.

In Superstock, Australian Josh Brookes led with 130.197 mph on his DAO Racing Honda, while Peter Hickman and Jamie Coward followed at 129.42 and 128.702 respectively. Supersports saw Michael Dunlop set 126.922 mph on a Ducati, with Brookes second at 124.271 and Hickman at 123.584.

The opening practice session was red‑flagged after a crash on the northern section of the 37.7‑mile Mountain Course, forcing the rest of the day’s schedule to abandon. Two spectators were flown to the UK for specialist care after a rider collided with the crowd; six others and the racer were discharged from hospital.
