Hudson-Odoi Out for Season After Leg Surgery

Nottingham Forest winger Callum Hudson-Odoi will miss the remainder of the Premier League season after undergoing leg surgery following an injury sustained in the Europa League quarter-final against Porto. The 25-year-old, who joined Forest from Chelsea last summer, was forced off during the second leg victory and subsequently missed the 4-1 win over Burnley.

Forest confirmed the surgery was successful but that Hudson-Odoi won't return to full fitness until pre-season. The former England international expressed disappointment on social media about ending his season this way but remains optimistic about returning stronger. His absence creates a significant gap in Vitor Pereira's attacking options during a crucial run of fixtures.

Forest sit five points clear of the relegation zone heading into their final five matches against Sunderland, Chelsea, Newcastle, Manchester United and Bournemouth. They also face Aston Villa in the Europa League semi-finals, with the first leg on April 30. Hudson-Odoi's absence will test Forest's squad depth as they pursue both Premier League survival and European glory.
