Chris Wood makes his first start for Nottingham Forest in six months as Vitor Pereira makes nine changes for the Europa League quarter-final first leg against FC Porto. The 34-year-old striker returns from a knee injury that required surgery in December, having last played in October before the international break.

Wood's availability provides a significant boost to Forest's European campaign as they face the Portuguese giants at the Estadio do Dragao. Pereira, who previously coached Porto to two league titles between 2011-2013, has rotated his squad heavily after their crucial 3-0 Premier League victory over Tottenham that bolstered their relegation fight.

Alongside Wood, Forest's lineup features several other changes including Dilane Bakwa, Dan Ndoye, Morato, Zach Abbott, James McAtee, Stefan Ortega and Ryan Yates captaining the side. The winner of this tie will face either Bologna or Aston Villa in the semi-finals, with the return leg scheduled for next Thursday at the City Ground.
