Bluegraph introduces a new way to explore NOAA buoy data, reconstructing ocean conditions in 3D from measured spectral data. Since April 2025, the platform has collected 113.7 million data points from a network spanning two oceans, the Caribbean, and the Great Lakes. Users can find stations by region, from the Northeast and Great Lakes to the Pacific Northwest and Alaska.

The interface visualizes column height as significant wave height and uses brightness to represent dominant periods ranging from 4 to 16 seconds. Data is organized geographically, allowing users to compare typical and highest seas across locations. For example, the California coast shows highest seas of 3.8 m at Tanner Bank, while the Gulf of Mexico reports 0.9 m at Aransas Pass Channel Entrance.

The platform currently tracks 715 stations, with 695 reporting in the last three hours. Latest observations include data from 29 Sep at 04:50 UTC. The system covers diverse water temperatures, ranging from 7–34 °C across different regions, providing a comprehensive view of real-time and historical buoy measurements.
