Samsung Electronics is rolling out ChatGPT Enterprise and Codex to its entire workforce, marking one of OpenAI's largest enterprise deployments to date. The tools will reach all employees in Korea and the worldwide Device eXperience division, spanning from R&D labs to manufacturing floors and corporate offices.

The deployment reflects Samsung's push to embed AI across all business functions, not just specialized teams. Employees can leverage ChatGPT for knowledge tasks like document drafting and data analysis, while Codex supports both software development and non-technical workflows. Samsung plans to use these tools to accelerate product development and improve problem-solving capabilities company-wide.

Korean adoption is accelerating rapidly, with Codex weekly active users growing nearly 800% in the country since February.
