Meta has rolled out a digital version of its chief executive, Mark Zuckerberg, that staff can chat with on internal platforms. The avatar mimics his speech patterns and decision‑making style, allowing employees to query the AI for guidance on projects, culture and strategy. By embedding a familiar face, Meta hopes to accelerate adoption of its broader AI tools.

The move is part of a larger push to develop what Zuckerberg calls a “personal superintelligence” – an AI that can act as an extension of an individual’s mind. Internally, the prototype is being tested in product teams and HR units, where it fields routine queries and offers feedback. Early reports suggest the bot reduces response time for routine requests, freeing senior staff for higher‑level work.

Investors will watch how the experiment influences productivity and talent retention, especially as Meta bets heavily on AI to revive growth. If the digital CEO proves effective, it could become a template for other firms seeking to humanise AI interfaces. For now, Meta’s internal AI experiment signals a concrete step toward commercialising its AI ambitions.
