HIG Capital has acquired Torque, a UK-based omni-channel fulfillment specialist, for undisclosed terms. The transaction was completed in partnership with Torque’s management team, led by CEO Stewart Firth, who will continue to oversee operations. Torque provides warehousing, inventory and returns management, and international freight forwarding to premium and high-growth consumer brands across e-commerce, retail, and wholesale channels.

With over 30 years of operation, the company runs a network of fulfillment sites across the UK. Torque plans to expand organically and through strategic acquisitions, adding capacity, developing international capabilities, and deploying advanced warehouse technology. HIG Capital will support this growth using its operational resources, international network, and M&A expertise, according to Adam Taylor, managing director in HIG’s London office.

The acquisition marks a new phase for Torque as it seeks to enhance its service offerings and customer base.
