Rangers have confirmed the acquisition of Venezuela striker Kevin Kelsy from Portland Timbers and the season-long loan of Algeria winger Badredine Bouanani from Stuttgart. The double announcement, made as the Scottish transfer window closed, brings the summer total of new signings to 14 at Ibrox. Kelsy, 22, has signed a four-year contract with an option for a fifth year.

He previously joined Portland after being sold by Shakhtar Donetsk in January 2025. In his most recent season, Kelsy made 16 appearances for Portland, scoring 10 goals and providing three assists. Overall, the 6ft 4in left-footed forward has 63 appearances, 19 goals, and five assists to his name.

Bouanani, also 22, joins from Stuttgart having featured for Algeria at the 2024 Olympics. The loan deal adds depth to the attacking options at Rangers ahead of the new campaign. Both players aim to strengthen the squad as manager Philippe Clement looks to build on last season's performance.
