WLMouse has announced a limited edition Year of the Horse colorway for its Huan gaming mouse. The bright red version features a custom graphic on the shell and a matching red base station. It will ship with accessories like extra skates and grips, with a matching mousepad also appearing.

The underlying mouse remains the same premium magnesium alloy model, weighing just under 50g. Internals include a Nordic 54HM MCU and a PixArt PAW3950HS sensor with an optional 20K FPS lock. Omron optical switches and a TTC Silver encoder handle inputs, targeting competitive gamers.

This follows the brand's Nekko colorway strategy, which commands a $169 price versus the base $155. A limited run for a cultural holiday typically drives collector interest and higher margins. The launch is set for February, though final pricing for the Year of the Horse edition hasn't been revealed.
