Welcome to the first full week of October and boy do we have a packed week full of new releases and we have two major releases this week, with one being a prequel in a popular Xbox franchise and one being a sequel MMORPG. As for this week's other releases, we start the week with some racing in the Star Wars universe, followed by a game based on a famous horror movie. Continuing on the horror theme we got a 2.5D survival horror metroidvania and we end the week with a seemingly peaceful drive in the countryside valleys.
Gears of War: E-Day is this week's first major release, launching Tuesday 6 October. Experience the horror and brutality of Emergence Day, fourteen years before the original Gears of War, as Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago fight the Locust Horde. Multiplayer includes Horde Siege and Versus PvP.
AION 2 is the second major release, launching Monday 5 October. This MMORPG features a world where the sky is the battlefield, with faction wars across a world 36 times larger than the original, built on Unreal Engine 5.
Other releases include Star Wars: Galactic Racer (Tuesday), Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival (Thursday with demo), Silver Pines (Thursday with demo), and Truckful (Friday). Don't forget to check out this week's other releases as well.
