Synology introduced its latest RackStations—RS6426xs+, RS4826xs+, and RS3626xs—targeting demanding enterprise backup, data management, and virtualization workloads. The new units promise up to 165,000 IOPS on the RS6426xs+, with 135,000 and 115,000 IOPS on the other models.

Designed for scalability, the RS6426xs+ supports 1,536 TB of raw storage via four RX1225RP expansion units. All models feature dual 10GbE ports, optional 25GbE or Fiber Channel upgrades, and hardware redundancy with dual power supplies.

Synology emphasizes hot‑swappable drives, online volume expansion, and out‑of‑band management for uninterrupted operations. Automated tiering moves active data to high‑performance disks and offloads inactive data, streamlining capacity management.

These RackStations will ship from May 6, 2026, through Synology’s partner network. The launch positions the company to meet growing demands for reliable, high‑throughput storage in complex IT environments.
