A single-slot GeForce RTX 3060 with no external power connector has appeared on Newegg for $495.59. The SRhonyra RTX 3060 Low Profile runs entirely off the PCIe x16 slot's 75 W power budget, with Newegg listing a 70 W TDP. It retains the full 12 GB GDDR6 and GA106 die but omits the 6-pin and 8-pin connectors required by a standard RTX 3060's 170 W TDP. The card features a single-slot blower cooler with one HDMI 2.1 and one DisplayPort 1.4a output.

Similar to a previously spotted Bilibili card, this model required shunt-modding the power-sensing circuit because the 70 W TDP falls below the 100 W floor the RTX 3060 normally reaches through undervolting alone. Performance figures for this specific card are unavailable, but testing on a similar card showed clocks struggling to reach 900 MHz versus the rated 1,777 MHz boost, with 3DMark Time Spy scores around half of a normal RTX 3060 and even behind a GTX 1060.

Interestingly, SRhonyra isn't marketing this as a gaming card. Newegg's listing pitches it as an "AI-capable" GPU for running 7B to 13B parameter local LLMs. For small form factor builds with no room for a power cable or second slot, it may be one of few options, though $495 feels steep for such a compromised card.
