Razer has unveiled the Atlas Pro, the world's thinnest glass gaming mouse mat, measuring just 1.9 mm including its rubber base. The surface itself is only 1.1 mm thick, breaking the sub-2 mm barrier for the first time in the category. This ultra-thin design brings the mouse surface closer to the desk for improved ergonomics and a more seamless aesthetic.

Building on the original Atlas from 2023, which pioneered full-coverage rubber bases for glass mats, the Atlas Pro pushes engineering boundaries further. The company collaborated with its sensor partner to develop a 2 µm micro-etched texture that ensures precise tracking despite the extreme thinness. The tempered glass surface is rated 9H on the Mohs hardness scale, making it resistant to scratches from keys, coins, and other everyday objects.

The 500 x 400 mm surface features CNC-milled rounded edges for wrist comfort and an anti-slip rubber base for stability during intense gaming sessions. Global Head of Design Charlie Bolton said the team sought to challenge a stagnant category by rethinking how glass should interact with the desk. The result is a premium gaming accessory that blends cutting-edge performance with modern desk aesthetics, potentially setting a new standard for glass mouse mats.
