Mouse Computer in Japan has unveiled the NEXTGEAR Clear Shift PC case, a novel design that allows users to switch the glass panel between transparent and opaque modes. The system, part of the EG Series, features a button to toggle between the modes. A pre-built system with an AMD Ryzen 7 5700X CPU and an RTX 5060 is available.

The case's unique feature is its dimming panel technology, offering a 'stealth' mode that obscures internal components. When the system is on, the panel is transparent, showcasing the internal hardware. When powered off, the panel returns to its opaque state. The Clear Shift design could inspire other manufacturers.
