Khadas Mind Pro Price Surges Amid RAM Shortage

Khadas recently unveiled its Mind Pro mini PC powered by Intel's Panther Lake CPUs alongside a modular eGPU solution featuring the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti. However, the company announced significant price hikes and model delays due to hardware shortages driven by the AI boom.

In a pricing statement, Khadas said it would keep adjustments minimal by absorbing part of the increase. The Core Ultra X7 model with 64 GB memory rose $300 from a $1,999 pre-order price to a $2,299 MSRP. A July 30 update pushed this further to $2,599 for the Core Ultra X7 358H with 64 GB and 2 TB SSD.

The Intel Core Ultra X9 version with 96 GB DDR5-9600 RAM and the Core Ultra X7 32 GB model were delayed. Khadas cited disproportionate memory cost increases for the high-end modules. The X7 64 GB variant remains as the best price-performance balance, with a $500 pre-order discount valid until March 27.
