Intel and Google Cloud are expanding their strategic collaboration to accelerate Intel's digital transformation with Google Cloud's Gemini Enterprise and scalable infrastructure.

Intel will integrate Gemini-powered generative AI across its global workforce, enhancing capabilities in engineering, supply chain, and corporate operations. Google Cloud's infrastructure will also augment Intel's semiconductor development, introducing custom, agentic workflows to speed up chip design and streamline execution. "As part of our AI-powered transformation, we are committed to offering our employees tools that help them move with greater speed, agility, and efficiency," stated Cindy Stoddard, senior vice president and chief information officer at Intel.

The integration moves beyond pilot programs, utilizing Gemini's advanced reasoning for coding assistance and engineering automation. Intel's business functions can build tailored LOB agents for process automation. Additionally, Intel is leveraging Google Cloud's scalable infrastructure to optimize silicon development simulations and core developer workloads, augmenting on-premises compute capabilities with Google Cloud C4 and N4 instances to accelerate chip development cycles.
