At Cloud Next 2026, Google rolled out Workspace Intelligence, an agentic AI layer that threads Gemini across Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Chat. The system claims real‑time awareness of projects, collaborators and files, pulling data from Gmail and other apps to surface what matters without manual searching. By unifying context, the feature promises a more fluid creation workflow.

In Docs, Gemini can generate infographics from spreadsheets, apply edits suggested in comments, and batch‑modify images. Sheets now visualizes data by scanning emails, chats and web sources, while Slides tailors presentations to a company’s visual style using the same contextual engine. Chat introduces “Ask Gemini,” which drafts new documents, curates daily briefs and even schedules meetings on command, while maintaining data privacy.

Google also unveiled an AI‑enhanced Gmail Inbox that flags priority messages, bill reminders and appointment alerts. The feature ships to AI Ultra subscribers for $250 a month in the United States, positioning the suite as a premium productivity boost for enterprises and power users. Early testers report faster task triage, confirming the assistant’s practical value and reduces the back‑and‑forth of manual revisions.
