TechPowerUp released GPU-Z v2.71.0, a lightweight graphics subsystem information, diagnostics, and monitoring utility for gamers, engineers, and enthusiasts. The new version introduces NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50-series "Blackwell" hot-spot temperature monitoring, which shows the temperature of the hottest spot on the GPU die. GPU-Z also adds RTX 50-series memory chip temperature reading, displaying the hottest memory chip by default with a tooltip showing all memory chip temperatures on hover.

GPU-Z v2.71.0 introduces an "overclocking" readout in the Advanced tab for NVIDIA GPUs, displaying OC frequencies including internal clock domains such as crossbar (XBAR), SYS, video clock, and boost locks. The utility can now read NVIDIA SYS and L2 cache clocks, which must be enabled to appear in the Sensors tab. A new feature reports PCI-Express bandwidth in GB/s for NVIDIA GPUs. Users can identify disabled log-to-file sensors by their grayed-out dropdown arrows.

The release adds support for numerous new GPUs including NVIDIA RTX 5060 (GB205), RTX 4070 10 GB, RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell Server, H100 PCIe variant, Tesla V100-SXM2-16 GB variant, and P102-101. AMD support includes Steam Machine GPU and Radeon PRO V710 (second variant). Intel additions cover Panther Lake, Lunar Lake, Arrow Lake H, RPL-H Refresh, and Twin Lake processors. Qualcomm Snapdragon X2-90, X2-85, and X2-45 are also supported. Several minor fixes are included in the change-log.
