Good Way has introduced the DBF7059, a new Thunderbolt 5 eGPU dock designed to enhance the graphical capabilities of commercial laptops. This device is significant for enterprise and professional environments where users require high-end GPU performance from portable systems. The core feature of the DBF7059 is its Thunderbolt 5 upstream link, which supports dynamic bandwidth allocation.

Specifically, it can segment the interconnect to provide 120 Gbps for host-to-GPU data transfers and 40 Gbps for GPU-to-host communications, ensuring optimal bandwidth for demanding graphics tasks. The dock includes a PCI-Express 4.0 x16 slot connected via a bridge chip, and it is powered by an integrated 700 W power supply. This robust power delivery can support modern graphics cards requiring up to 600 W through a 12V-2x6 connector, in addition to the standard 75 W from the slot.

Good Way has stress-tested the unit with high-end cards to validate its endurance. For connectivity, the dock features stereo USB audio, an SD Express card reader, a 10 Gbps USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A port, a 10 Gbps Type-C port, and a Thunderbolt 5 downstream port for daisy-chaining devices.
