Cyberpunk 2077 is receiving a major PS5 Pro enhancement on April 8, bringing 4K resolution with PSSR upscaling and full ray tracing support. The update, detailed in a PlayStation Blog post, will be free for all PlayStation 5 Pro owners and includes three distinct gameplay modes tailored to different preferences.

Players can choose between Ray Tracing Pro mode targeting 40 FPS with all ray tracing features enabled, Performance mode aiming for 90 FPS with high image fidelity, or Ray Tracing mode targeting 60 FPS with select enhancements. The update leverages the PS5 Pro's hardware capabilities to deliver improved visuals including ray traced lighting, shadows, and reflections.
