Pragmata Gets Silent PS5 Pro Resolution Boost

Capcom has silently upgraded Pragmata's resolution on the PS5 Pro through Patch 1.21, boosting the internal render resolution from 864p to 1080p. Testing by Digital Foundry and Brazil Pixel confirmed the change, though Capcom hasn't officially announced the improvement. The PS5 Pro now matches the base console's resolution output, though with different upscaling technologies.

The base PS5 version already rendered at native 1080p, producing cleaner images in some cases before the update. The PS5 Pro version uses Enhanced PSSR for upscaling, while the base console employs FSR. Digital Foundry's testing revealed the Patch 1.21 image appears much cleaner without impacting frame rate performance, addressing one of the game's visual concerns.

This resolution adjustment demonstrates Capcom's ongoing optimization efforts for Pragmata, potentially setting expectations for future game updates on Sony's premium console. The improvement suggests developers are increasingly taking advantage of the PS5 Pro's hardware capabilities, even when changes aren't officially highlighted in patch notes.
