Channel Well Technology (CWT) made a notable shift at Computex 2026, expanding beyond its traditional OEM roots into consumer-facing power supply products. For years, the company manufactured PSUs for other brands without selling under its own name, but that changed around 2024 as it began targeting PC enthusiasts, gamers, and workstation users.

The centerpiece at Computex was the CTH VP-Series, designed specifically for GPU inferencing workstations. These high-wattage units deliver 2500 W to 3200 W across four models, supporting ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 standards with 80 Plus Platinum efficiency on 230 V power. Each model includes four 12V-2x6 connectors, addressing the power demands of modern high-end GPUs.

A more compact VL-Series offers similar specs in reduced-depth chassis, while the CTT1650V-P targets mainstream enthusiasts with 1650 W output and two 12V-2x6 connectors. CWT also showcased its own branded PSU components and previewed ARGB LED fans with hydrodynamic bearings, featuring daisy-chaining capabilities and interlock mechanisms.

This expansion signals CWT's ambition to compete directly with established brands like Seasonic and Fortron. By building its own component supply chain and targeting emerging markets like AI inferencing workstations, CWT positions itself as a serious player in the enthusiast PSU segment.
