Cabletime, a design-driven digital connectivity brand, announced the Kickstarter launch of the ScreenDock, an 8-in-1 USB-C docking station with an integrated 5.5-inch 720p companion display. The device addresses the growing desktop problem of limited screen space by adding a dedicated area for secondary information, allowing users to move app windows onto the small display just like a second monitor. The main screen handles primary tasks, while the companion display keeps supporting content in view.

ScreenDock offers 8-in-1 USB-C expansion, including HDMI output up to 4K at 60Hz, USB-C Power Delivery up to 100W, data ports, SD/microSD access, and Gigabit Ethernet. The adjustable display has three brightness levels and configurable orientation. It works with Windows and macOS, requiring a supplied USB display driver. It is not a standalone smart device; all content comes from the connected computer.
