ASRock announced today that it is updating its monitor lineup with its flagship Taichi brand, introducing three new 27-inch models to the company's offerings. First in line is the new TCO27USA, designed as a flagship model with a 27-inch 4K UHD Penta Tandem QD-OLED display and a 240 Hz refresh rate. ASRock has equipped this panel with a 0.03 ms gray-to-gray response time, 99% DCI-P3 color accuracy, and other technologies such as AMD Free Sync, VESA's Display HDR True Black 400, and proprietary low blue light technology to reduce eye strain.

For those with multiple setups, there is a built-in KVM switch. Regarding port selection, the ASRock Taichi TCO27USA features two HDMI 2.1 ports, two Display Port 2.1 with UHBR20, and a single USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C serving as a Display Port alternative or a 65 W power delivery line. The second model, called TCO27QXA, is designed for high-refresh e-sports games.

It features a 27-inch 2K QHD QD-OLED panel with an impressive 500 Hz refresh rate. It also offers the same 0.03 ms gray-to-gray response time, 99% DCI-P3 coverage, and AMD Free Sync. This design provides deeper blacks with VESA Display HDR True Black 500 certification and includes ASRock's low blue light technology for extended gaming sessions.

The port selection is similar to the previous model, including two HDMI 2.1 ports, two Display Port 2.1 with UHBR20, and a single USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C serving as a Display Port alternative or a 65 W power delivery line. Finally, the most ambitious ASRock display is the TCO27QXB, a new flagship refresh rate model in the Taichi family. Featuring a 27-inch Tandem WOLED panel, the TCO27QXB offers two modes of operation.

The first mode includes a 2K QHD resolution with a 540 Hz refresh rate for high-resolution gaming, or there is an option to switch to a lower HD resolution to achieve a 720 Hz refresh rate. For e-sports fans, the tradeoff between lower resolution and higher refresh rate might be worthwhile. The panel also offers a 0.03 ms gray-to-gray response time, 99% DCI-P3 coverage, AMD Free Sync, and VESA Display HDR True Black 500.

Like the previous two models, the port selection includes two HDMI 2.1 ports, two Display Port 2.1 with UHBR20, and a single USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C serving as a Display Port alternative or a 65 W power delivery line. All models include pivot, height, swivel, and tilt adjustments, as well as Taichi Lighting.
