AMD has rolled out six new Ryzen PRO 9000 Series CPUs, all AM5 chips aimed at managed business environments rather than consumers. The top model, Ryzen 9 PRO 9965X3D, boasts 16 Zen 5 cores, 32 threads, a 5.5 GHz boost clock, and an eye‑catching 128 MB of L3 cache enabled by 3D V‑Cache. Its 170 W TDP matches the flagship consumer 9950X3D.

Two additional chips bring the 3D V‑Cache feature down to the Ryzen 7 tier. The Ryzen 7 PRO 9755X3D delivers eight cores, 16 threads, a 5.2 GHz peak, and 96 MB of L3 cache while consuming 120 W. A non‑X3D Ryzen 9 PRO 9965 shares the same core count and TDP but offers only 64 MB of L3.

The remaining lineup includes Ryzen 9 PRO 9955 (12 cores, 120 W), Ryzen 7 PRO 9755 (8 cores, 120 W), and Ryzen 5 PRO 9655 (six cores, 120 W), each with either 64 MB or 32 MB of L3 cache. These new parts sit above the existing 65 W 9945, 9745, and 9645 models, giving enterprises a higher‑power tier for demanding workstation workloads.

AMD plans to ship systems powered by the new CPUs in the second half of 2026, with Lenovo’s ThinkStation P4 slated for Q3 2026. By expanding the PRO range with 3D V‑Cache and higher TDP options, AMD delivers a clearer path to performance‑intensive workloads while maintaining the security and manageability features that business users demand.
