AMD has expanded its processor offerings by adding 11 new "Hawk Point" APUs. Seven new models join the Ryzen 200 series, featuring six- and eight-core configurations with standard Zen 4 and hybrid Zen 4/Zen 4c cores. These processors are paired with Radeon 740M, 760M, or 780M integrated graphics.

Four new processors are also available in the Ryzen 100 series, including the Ryzen 9 180, Ryzen 7 165, Ryzen 7 155, and Ryzen 5 125. These chips offer four, six, or eight CPU cores and utilize the same Radeon 740M, 760M, or 780M integrated GPUs. Despite initial assumptions, these new Ryzen 100 series models are based on the "Hawk Point" architecture, utilizing Zen 4 cores and a 4 nm process.

These new APUs are expected to primarily appear in upcoming OEM laptops and Mini-PCs. This expansion follows AMD's recent introduction of processors based on older Zen 2 and Zen+ architectures. The inclusion of these higher-performance integrated graphics options suggests a continued push for improved graphical capabilities in mainstream mobile and compact computing devices, potentially impacting the integrated graphics performance expectations for everyday users.
