Leading provider of Computer-on-Modules AAEON (Stock Code: 6579) today introduced the COM-TWLC6 Rev. B, COM-ASLC6 Rev. B, and COM-ADNC6 Rev. B COM Express Type 6 modules, powered by Intel Atom and Processor N-series CPUs.

This lineup differentiates itself through subtle yet important design choices, notably 16 GB LPDDR5x of soldered system memory replacing SODIMM-based DDR5. This switch bolsters module durability for high-vibration applications and provides lower power benefits. Also featured is 128 GB eMMC of onboard storage, enhancing reliability and shock resistance while reducing reliance on external SSD wiring.

The modules target rugged, cost-efficient solutions across transportation, signage, and healthcare. Interfaces include ten USB (USB 2.0 x 8, USB 3.2 Gen 2 x 2), 2.5GbE, 2-Wire UART, GPIO 8-bit, SMBus, and I2C. Expansion features flexible PCIe 3.0 lane configurations with optional SATA co-lay. Display options include dual DisplayPort (3840 x 2160 @60 Hz) and 18/24-bit LVDS co-layed with eDP. For validation, AAEON offers the ECB-920A-A11 evaluation carrier board and Q Service Plus for custom carrier board development.
