The incident, which occurred last month, gained wider attention this week as video circulated on social media. Major Canadian news outlets, including the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and The Toronto Star, have reported on the gaffe. The Toronto Star commented that it highlights a societal divide between elites who delegate tasks to AI and the public who find it objectionable.
