Gerwyn Price advocates for a hybrid approach of old and current systems, plus a WWE-inspired "Royal Rumble" element with surprise challengers.

Price's Royal Rumble concept would see random challengers enter weekly, with the ultimate winner earning a Premier League spot for the following year. This added twist would involve 26 of the world's best players. Porter acknowledges format changes are challenging since "you're never going to pick something that pleases everyone," indicating discussions will continue.
