Manny Pacquiao will step back into the ring on April 18 for a 10-round welterweight exhibition against former junior welterweight world champion Ruslan Provodnikov at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas. The 47-year-old Filipino icon returned to boxing in 2025 after a four-year retirement, drawing with Mario Barrios in his comeback fight last July.

Pacquiao, the first boxer to win world titles in eight different weight divisions, initially retired in 2021 before launching a presidential bid in the Philippines in 2022. His return bout against Barrios ended in a majority draw, with two judges scoring it even and one giving Barrios a narrow victory. The exhibition against Provodnikov marks his second fight since ending his hiatus.

During his career, Pacquiao became the oldest welterweight world champion at age 40 in 2019. The April bout will take place at the Thomas and Mack Center, which hosted notable fights in the 1990s before newer venues like the MGM Grand Garden Arena and T-Mobile Arena became the primary homes for Las Vegas' top matches. Pacquiao continues to generate significant interest in the boxing world with his ongoing return to competition.
