Tottenham push for £60m Savinho deal

Tottenham have advanced talks to sign Savinho from Manchester City for a £60 million fee, sources confirm. The Brazilian winger reportedly wants to join Spurs after they failed to sign him last summer. This move comes as Tottenham looks to strengthen their squad under new head coach Roberto de Zerbi.

City's stance on Savinho has softened since their £30.8m purchase from Troyes in July 2024. The deal would represent a significant profit for City, with Savinho scoring seven goals in 84 appearances. Tottenham attempted to sign him previously but Manchester City were reluctant to sanction his departure at that time.

Spurs are looking to back their new manager after narrowly avoiding relegation from the Premier League. They've already confirmed the signing of Andy Robertson from Liverpool and expect Marcos Senesi to join from Bournemouth. The Savinho transfer would further demonstrate Tottenham's commitment to rebuilding their squad this summer.
