Roberto De Zerbi has set new Tottenham signing Sávio a goal target of 10 or 12 goals this season after the Brazilian winger's impressive debut. Spurs completed the £85 million ($116m) signing of Sávio from Manchester City on Tuesday, and he quickly made himself a fan favorite in a 5-1 thrashing of Charlton in the Carabao Cup. Sávio scored twice in his first appearance - an 82nd-minute low drive into the bottom corner and a deflected side-footed shot in the 85th minute. 'I think his biggest step and biggest improvement is to increase the number of goals because as qualities, I think he is one of the best wingers, but the best wingers score many goals,' De Zerbi said. The manager explained that last season Tottenham suffered too much due to insufficient goal scoring, finishing only 17th in the league. He emphasized that 10-12 goals from wingers is needed to compete for a better position.

De Zerbi also addressed academy graduate Mikey Moore's loan move to Bundesliga club Cologne, calling it 'perhaps the best move' for the 19-year-old despite his fine performance that included a 41st-minute strike. 'It is important for him, it is important for us because he is our player from the academy,' De Zerbi said. 'We have to find the best solution' with sporting director Johan Lange and CEO Vinai Venkatesham.

Tottenham's match also featured goals from Dominic Solanke, who scored his first start with a smart 45th-minute finish, and Kevin Danso, who added a third goal in the 67th minute. The club now faces a tougher test against Premier League rivals Liverpool in the next round.
