Inter Miami has expressed interest in signing Rayados de Monterrey forward Germán Berterame, sources confirmed to ESPN. The MLS club is reportedly prepared to pay the player's release clause, which Mexican outlets value at $15 million. A deal is not yet finalized, and Berterame scored for Rayados in a recent league match.

Berterame, 26, has been a prolific scorer in Liga MX since arriving in 2019. After a successful stint with Atletico San Luis, where he won the 2021 Apertura Golden Boot, he joined Rayados in 2022. There, he has netted 67 goals in 152 appearances, earning naturalization and a spot with the Mexico national team.

This move would bolster Miami's attacking options as they prepare for the new MLS season. The club previously missed out on other high-profile forwards. Berterame's proven goal-scoring record makes him a logical target, though competition from other MLS teams could complicate negotiations.
