Fulham have agreed a £34 million fee with Real Madrid for promising forward Gonzalo García, with a deal for midfielder César Palacios also nearing completion. García, 22, who made his Spain debut this year, is considered one of La Liga's top young talents. Palacios, 21, is a Spain youth international.

Both players are highly regarded by Fulham manager Álvaro Arbeloa, who recently moved to Craven Cottage from Real Madrid. Arbeloa previously coached García and Palacios in Real Madrid's youth system.

García scored six goals in limited minutes last season, partly due to the presence of Kylian Mbappé. Real Madrid is now reportedly considering signing another forward to compensate for García's departure.
