Vegas starter Carter Hart dismissed the “no means no!” chants from Carolina fans as “just noise” ahead of Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final. The chants recalled Hart’s 2024 charge and acquittal, keeping the controversy alive in Raleigh. After signing a two‑year, $4 million deal, Hart has started all 21 postseason games. The Hurricanes have turned T‑shirt nights into protest rallies, raising arena tension.

Hart’s debut was rough; he became only the third goalie to allow four‑plus goals in each of the first five Final games. He records a .856 save percentage and a 3.70 GAA as Carolina leads 3‑2. Coach John Tortorella, who also backed Hart in Philadelphia, insisted the issue is team defence, not benching the starter.

Teammates rallied behind Hart, with defenseman Rasmus Andersson noting the goalie has carried the Knights to this point and that outside noise won’t affect the game plan. With the series on the line, Vegas will stick with Hart in Game 6, hoping his performance improves enough to force a decisive seventh match. Vegas firmly hopes the crowd will stay silent.
