A Florida state attorney has dropped the misdemeanor trespassing charge against Minnesota Vikings receiver Jordan Addison. The case, stemming from a Jan. 12 incident at a Tampa-area casino, was terminated with Addison's $500 bond released. The decision follows a police report alleging he refused to leave a Noodle Bar at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

Addison's attorney, Brian Pakett, stated the young player's name was unfairly dragged through the mud over 'frivolous allegations.' This marks Addison's third brush with law enforcement since the Vikings drafted him 23rd overall in 2023. His agent, Tim Younger, had previously mentioned considering a civil lawsuit for false arrest following the incident.

On the field, Addison has been a key offensive piece for Minnesota, posting 175 receptions for 2,396 yards and 22 touchdowns over 46 career games. With the legal matter resolved, the Vikings' focus can return entirely to their ongoing playoff campaign and offseason preparations, where Addison's production remains vital.
