Seattle Seahawks safety Nick Emmanwori passed his physical, the team announced Tuesday, clearing the way for his return off the physically unable to perform list. The Seahawks also announced that fullback Robbie Ouzts has been placed on injured reserve, ending his season. Emmanwori began training camp on the PUP list after undergoing surgery in July on his right ankle, which he sprained before Super Bowl LX.

Emmanwori, a second-round pick in 2025, suffered a high ankle sprain in the first series of last season's opener, causing him to miss the remainder of that game and the following three. He suffered a low sprain on the same ankle four days before Super Bowl LX but played through the injury in Seattle's 29-13 victory. His recovery was documented on last week's season premiere of "Hard Knocks," showing him in a boot and on a scooter; he has since ditched both.

Ouzts, a fifth-round pick last year, has been sidelined for much of camp. Coach Mike Macdonald has not disclosed the nature of his injury, but Ouzts dealt with a neck injury during last season's playoffs and did not play in the NFC Championship Game or Super Bowl.
