The Baltimore Ravens have acquired five-time Pro Bowl defensive end Maxx Crosby from the Las Vegas Raiders in a blockbuster trade, sending their 2026 and 2027 first-round picks to the Raiders, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter. The Dallas Cowboys were also in pursuit of Crosby, offering a first- and second-round pick, but the Ravens' two first-rounders proved more enticing.

Crosby, 28, had been linked to a potential exit from Las Vegas for months, particularly after the Raiders placed him on injured reserve late in the season due to a knee injury. He was unhappy with the decision and left the team facility. Despite the injury, Crosby recorded 73 tackles (28 for loss) and 10 sacks in 2025, earning his fifth Pro Bowl selection.

The trade marks the first time in the Ravens' 31-year history they've used a first-round pick to acquire a player. Baltimore has been active this offseason, firing longtime coach John Harbaugh after missing the playoffs and hiring former defensive assistant Jesse Minter. For the Raiders, entering a rebuild under new coach Klint Kubiak, the move adds two premium draft assets as they hold the No. 1 and No. 14 picks in the upcoming draft.
